We are generalist investors, with a focus on software and AI enabled businesses. The thing that matters most: a founder doing their life’s work, with a unique insight on a market or customer they know well.
We invest at the earliest stages of company building — typically pre-seed or seed. No company is too early for us to look at; beyond Series A is typically too late.
We look to deploy $3–5M in each core investment, at the earliest opportunity.
Yes. We exclusively lead rounds, and aim to be your most active capital partner.
Yes. We believe it is important for companies to develop good governance practices — including quarterly Board Meetings — starting at the seed stage.
We take a very active role in the earliest stages of company development — helping shape mission, vision, and values, setting strategy, and building the team, with dedicated recruiting resources to help you hire.
We aim to invest in businesses that solve real problems, and so we tend to avoid advertising, gaming, gambling, crypto, and entertainment focused businesses.
We are all-in on Gutter, and do not make personal investments outside of the fund.
